The Government of the Punjab, Services, and General Administration Department issued a Notification on 12-07-2024 in connection with Public Holidays in Punjab from 16 to 17th July 2024. The Punjab Government has also announced general holidays on the 9th and 10th of Moharram-ul-Haram. The details are as follows:
Public Holidays Punjab on 16 to 17th July 2024 (Ashura)
S&GAD Punjab issued the Notification in Pursuance of cabinet Division’s circular No.10-1/2024-Min-II dated 09.07.2024 and in continuation of this office notification of even no. dated 26.12.2023 listing public holidays and optional holidays for the year 2024. The S&GAD notifies for general information that on 16th and 17th July 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday) the Government will observe public holidays in the Province of Punjab on the occasion of Ashura (09th & 10th Muhaarram, 1446 AH).
