The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department issued a Notification on 23-07-2024 in connection with Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 (ARA-2024) KP Employees. I had already shared the updates ARA-2024 KPK employees and Pension on 22-07-224. Now the Finance Department issued the Notification. The details are as follows:

Grant of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 (ARA-2024) KP Employees

Subject –              Grant of Adhoc Relief Alowance-2024 of the Employees of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to sanction w.e.f 1^st July 2924, and until further orders, an Adhoc Relief Allowance, 2024 @ 25% on running basic pay to the employees in BPS-01 to 16 and 20% on running basic pa to the officers In BPS-17 to 22 of the Provincial Government including contingent paid staff and contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment.

Basic Terms and Conditions for ARA-2024 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

1. The amount of Adhoc Relief Allwoance-2024.
2. Will be subject to income Tax.,
3. It will be admissible during leave and the entire period of LPR except for extra-ordinary leave.
4. Will not be rated as part of emolument for calculation of pension. gratuity and recovery of House Rent.
5. Will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting/deputation aboard.
6. It will be admissible to eh employees on their repatriation form posting/deputation abroad at the rate and emmnt which would have been admissible to them had they not been posted abroad.

Terms Basic Pay

3. The terms “ Basic Pay” for Ad-hoc Relief Allwoacne-202024 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of the annual increment(s) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales.
4. The above Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 shall be accommodated from within the budgetary allocation for the year 2924-25 by the respective Department / Organization and no supplementary grants would be given on this account to all the government employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f 01-07-2024

Before this Punjab, Federal, Sindh, and GB Government ARA-2024 Notification, the concerned Finance Departments issued. Now the Finance Department KP has issued its own Notification of ARA-2024.
