Government of the Punjab School Education Department issued a Notification on 22-07-2024 in connection with Amendment in Leave Encashment (LPR) Submission Case 3 Months Prior to LPR Starts. The details are as follows:
Amendment in Leave Encashment (LPR) Submission Case 3 Months Prior LPR Commences
Subject: Amendment in Leave Encashment (LPR) by Finance Department
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that the Finance Department vide motivation bearing No. FD. SR.II/2-97/2019 dated 01-06-2023 has notified amendments in Rule 17 of Revised Leave Rules, 1981 whereby a civil servant, who desires to get the benefit of encashment of LPR. It has come to the notice of the Competent Authority that concerned officers are not forwarding the cases of LPR well before time and in the light of notification issued by the Finance Department.
- I am, therefore, directed to convey to follow the instructions issued by the Finance Department and forward the cases of LR to the Department at least three months before the date of commencement of LPR with relevant documents, proper examination, and clear recommendations.
