Finance Department Azad Jammu & Kashmir issued a Notification on 24-07-2024 in connection with ARA-2024 AJK Employees. The employees of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir will get this allowance @ 20% to 25%. The effective date is 1st July 2024. The details are as follows:
ARA-2024 AJK Employees of BPS-01 to BPS-22
No. FDR/ 7834 /2024. The President Azad Jammu & Kashmir has been pleased to sanction w.e.f. 01.07.2024 and till further orders, an Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 to all the civil employees of Azad Government of State of Jammu & Kashmir including contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contracts appointment as under:
- BPS-1 to BPS-16 @25% of Running Basic Pay
- BPS-17 to BPS-22 @20% of Running Basic Pay
T&Cs for Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 Azad Jammu & Kashmir
The amount of Ad-hoc Relief Allowances-2024:-
i) Will be subject to Income tax:
ii) Will be admissible during leave and the entire period of LPR except during extraordinary leave.
Will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculations of Pension/ gratuity and recovery of House Rent.
Now all the following provincial and Federal Governments have issued the Notifications of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 and Pension Increase 2024. The details are as follows:
