The government of the Punjab School Education Department issued a Notification on 06-08-2024 in connection with Opening e-Transfer Round SED Punjab 2024. The details are as follows:

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to intimate that the Competent Authority has approved the opening of the E-Transfer round for promoted teachers, awaiting posting/officers/teachers, Mutual and Open Merit transfer as per the following schedule:   All CEPs (DEAs) will be responsible for tagging all promoted teachers on SIS before the opening of SIS round.

2. it is further directed to share the said schedule to lower formation as well as in all social media groups for awareness of teachers.

The teaching staff in Punjab was waiting for long for the opening of transfer posting in Punjab. They were facing a lot issued as they could not get themselves transfer posting more than a year. Now at last the SED Punjab issued the Notification for the transfer posting in Punjab. This action of the Government of Punjab will really facilitate the teachers in Punjab. They will work with more zeal and zest being nearer to their homes. Most of these teachers will have their choice of schools for which they will apply for posting.
