Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 04-09-2024 in connection with Revised Rates of GP Fund Interest 2024 Punjab. These new rates are applicable on the amount available with effect from 1^st July 2023 to 30^th June 2024. The new rates are the same as the Federal Government of Pakistan notified.

 

Revised Rates of GP Fund Interest 2024 Punjab

 

I am directed to refer to this department letter of even number dated July 11, 2023, on the subject cited above and to state that it has been decided that a profit rate of 13.87% per annum shall apply during the financial year 2023-2024 to the State Provident Fund i.e.General Provident t Fun. This rate, however, shall not apply in the case of subscribers who are entitled, under the rules of a particular fund, to a different rate of interest.

 

A copy is forwarded to the following offices:

 

1. All Heads of Autonomous. Semi-Autonomous Bodies in the Punjab,
2. All Heads of Development Authorities in the Punjab

 

Punjab Govt Rate of Mark-up on State Provident Fund i.e. General Provident fund for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024

 

The new and revised rates of GPF markup are 13.97% for the Punjab Government employees. The rates are less than the previous year.
