Government of Pakistan, Finance Division issued a Notification on 09-09-2024 in connection with the Grant of Adhoc Relief Allowance (ARA) 2024 to Supervisory / Executive Staff of Autonomous / Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations, etc. The details are as follows:
Grant of Adhoc Relief Allowance (ARA) 2024 to Supervisory / Executive Staff (Autonomous / Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations Staff)
As per the Notification, the Finance Division has already granted Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 @ 20% to BPS-17 and above employees while 25% to BPS-01 to BPS-16 employees. The Finance Division granted this allowance with effect from 1st July 2024 vide its Notification No. OM.NO.F.1(1).Imp/2024-254 dated 10-07-2024.
The Federal Government has now decided to grant this allowance too to the employees of Autonomous / Semi-Autonomous Bodies and corporations that have adopted the Federal Government Basic Pay Scales Scheme in totality.
The employees who have adopted different pay scales/allowances instead of Basic Pay Scales will not get this ARA-2024. There are also many other conditions for this ARA-2024. The employees can read the same thoroughly.
The other Federal government employees of BPS-01 to BPS-16 are getting ARA-2024 @ 25%, Sindh Employees @ 30% for BPS-01 to BPS-06. KP, Punjab, and Balochistan employees are getting the Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 at the same rates as the Federal Government. Sindh Government granted RA-2024 to BPS-17 and above @ 22% while Federal and other provinces granted @ 20% of running basic pay.
