The government of Sindh, Universities & Boards Department, issued a Notification on 15-10-2024 in connection with the New Grading Scheme Class 9 to 12 and Enhancement Pass Percentage Sindh 2024. The details are as follows:
New Grading Scheme Class 9 to 12 and Enhancement Pass Percentage Sindh 2024
No. SO (B)/U&B/All-Boards/11-03-2024 – by the inter Boards Coordination Commission’s advice, vice No. IBCC/GF/7-17/202412170 dated 30th August 2024, the Minister for Universities & Boards / Controlling Authority of Educational Board In Sindh is hereby pleased to notify for the general information of all concerned that pass percentage has been enhanced from 33% to 40% at SSC and HSC level for all subjects, in addition to implementation of new grading scheme for Grades 9 to 12 whereby instead of raw marks, results shall be communicated by means go grade, GOA and CGOA, commencing form Annual Examinations of SSC and HSC, 2025. The new grading formula shall be as follows:

| A++ | 95% to 100% | Exceptional | 5.0 |
| A+ | 90% to 94% | Outstanding | 4.7 |
| A | 85% to 89% | Excellent | 4.3 |
| B++ | 80% to 84% | Very Good | 4.0 |
| B+ | 75% to 79% | Good | 3.7 |
| B | 70% to 74% | Fairly Good | 3.3 |
| C | 60% to 69% | Above Average | 3.0 |
| D | 50% to 59% | Average | 2.0 |
| E | 40 to 49% | Below Average | 1.0 |
| U | Less than 40% | Unsatisfactory | 0 |
This is for the information of all concerned, including the Boar of intermediate and Secondary Education and Heads of Institutions at the SSC and HSC Levels for compliance.
