Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a Notification on 14-10-2024 in connection with Promotion Assistants and Head Clerks as Superintendents and Office Incharges as Assistant Director (BPS-17). The details are as follows:

NO.SO(Pension)9-6/2024:The SED issued a Notification consequent upon the Departmental Promotion Committee’s (DPC) recommendations. They held a meeting on 02-10-2024. The SED promoted the following Assistant / Head leeks (BS-16 to the rant of Superintendent (BS-17). In the same way, Office anchorage (B&A/BS-17) to the rant of Assistant Director (BS-17) on a regular/acting charge basis (as mentioned against each), with immediate effect.

Terms & Conditions
If the officer fails to join their new assignment within 15 days after the sale of their posting orders, they shall be deemed to have forgone the third promotion. The effect of forgoing promotion entails supersession as clarified in the GUlarzations WIndh, S&GAD instructions bearing NO.SOR-II(S&GAD)2-132/2002 dated 03-02-2003 read with NO, SOR0II(S7GAD)2-167/2010, dated 12-11-2010.
The incumbents will not be granted a right to transfer before they complete a three-year tenure as prescribed by the School Education Department.
