Government of the Punjab (Implementation & Coordination Wing) issued a Notification on 15-11-2024 in connection with Shifting 50% Strength of Staff to Online Mode Punjab. The details are as follows:

Shifting 50% Strength of Staff to Online Mode Punjab

Shifting 50% HR strength to Online mode and Online Inter-Departmental Meetings in the Wake of Deteriorating Air Quality / SMOG.

I am directed to draw your kind attention to letter no. 124/PA/DG/2024 dated 12-11-2024 (Copy Enclosed), issued by the Environmental Protection Agency, Punjab, on the subject cited above and to convey that in the wake of deteriorating Air Quality and Smog, the Competent Authority has desired that the following instructions may be implemented/followed in letter &spirit, with immediate effect,

1. The physical presence of Human Resources officers in your Jurisdiction may be reduced by 50% by shifting them to online mode/work from home.
2. The inter-department meeting may be convened online; the innless physical presence of participants is essential.
3. Prepare and implement the Smog Contingency Plan of the respective Organization or Department. The same may also be shared with the Environment Protection Agency, Punjab.
4. Any other Instruction issued by the Environment Protection Department in this regard occasionally.
