Schools Education Department and Higher Education Department has announced for Opening of Schools and Colleges wef 19 Nov 2024 All Punjab Except Multan & Lahore. All Universities will also resume their classes with effect from 19th Nov 2024. The details are as follows:
Opening of Schools and Colleges wef 19 Nov 2024 All Punjab Except Multan & Lahore
Under the order dated 18-11-2204 of the Director General, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Government of Punjab and in continuation of this department’s earlier notifications dated 15-11-2024, all educational institutions (Public and Private) in the province of Punjab except Lahore and Multan divisions shall be opened with effect from 19th Nov 2024 (Tuesday) with the physical presence of students/staff with folwing restrictions / precautionary measures:
- All the educational institutions in these districts shall observe school opening timings not before 8:45 am.
- All the students/staff shall wear face masks.
- There shall be a complete ban on outdoor sports and co-curricular activities until further orders.
- All educational institutions shall introduce class-wise school closing timings to avoid traffic congestion.
Orders by Higher Education Department Punjab
The ambient air quality has improved in most districts of Punjab due to rain in the upper parts of Punjab, there is a change in wind direction and speed.
Therefore, all the educational institutions, except Lahore and Multan Divisions, shall be opened w.e.f. 19-11-2024 (Tuesday) with the physical presence of students/staff with the above restrictions/precautionary measures:

In pursuance of orders dated 18th Nov 2024, issued by DG EPA and Notification dated 15-11-2024, It is hereby notified that all colleges (Private and Public) upto intermediate level FA/F.Sc/ICs/ICom-Part-I and II) in Rawalpindi Division shall be open effective from 19-11-2024 (Tuesday).
