School Education Department Punjab issued a Notification on 19-11-2024 in connection with Opening Schools Lahore and Multan Division wef 20 Nov 2024. The HED canceled holidays throughout the province. In various districts of Punjab, schools and colleges have opened on 19 Nov 2024. Only Multan and Lahore Division schools remained closed but due to the better weather conditions now School Education Department decided to open the schools and colleges.

NO.SO(A-I)1-31/2022: Under order dated 19-11-2024 of the Director  General Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Government of Punjab and in continuation of this department’s earlier notification dated 18-11-2024, all the Educational Institutions (Public & Private) in the province of Punjab including Lahore and Multan divisions shall be opened w.e.f 20-11-2024 (Wednesday) with the physical presence of students/staff with following restrictions / precautionary measures:

1. All the educational institutions in these districts shall observe the school opening timing, which should not be before 8:45 AM.
2. All the students/staff shall wear face masks.
3. There shall be a complete ban on outdoor sports and co-circular activities until further orders.
4. All Educational institutions shall introduce a class-wise school closing time to avoid traffic congestion.

2. Chief Executive Officers (DEA) concerned are directed to ensure compliance with the orders.
