The School Education Department has issued a Notification on 17-12-2024 in connection with Winter Vacation Punjab 2024 in Punjab educational institutions. The schools in Punjab will have winter holidays from 20 Jan 2024 to 10 Jan 2025.
Winter Vacation Punjab 2024 in Punjab educational institutions
As per the Notification, the schools in Punjab will remain closed with effect from 20 December 2024 to 10 Jan 2025. Consequent upon approval of the Comp[etent Authority, it is hereby notified that Winter Vacation in all public and private schools in Punjab province shall be observed from 20-12-2024 to 10-01-2024. All schools shall reopen on Monday 13th January 2025 (11-01-2025) & 12-01-2025 Saturday & Sunday). However, the restrictions regarding the wearing of Face Masks within school premises shall remain the same.
The KP Education Department has also already issued the Notification Winter Vacation 2024 KPK Schools of the public and private sectors. Now the Punjab Government SED has issued the Notification.
Education Minister Punjab Statement on Winter Holidays
The Education Minister Punjab has given a statement about the Schedule of Winter Holidays Punjab 2024 for educational institutions in Punjab. The schools in Punjab will remain closed for winter vacation 2024 with effect from 20 Dec 2024. The details are as follows:
As per the statement of the Minister of Education in Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat, the Punjab Government has announced the winter vacation (Holidays) in Punjab with effect from 20-12-2024 (Friday). All private and Public sector schools/ educational institutions will follow the schedule of winter vacation 2024 Punjab as Punjab Government School Education Department announced.
Earlier there were many fake notifications on social media showing the schedule of holidays in Punjab schools from different dates to specific dates. But now the Minister has clarified that same that the Educational institutions in Punjab will have winter holidays from 20 December 2024 (Friday).
Amended Notification by SED Punjab
The SED Punjab also issued a notification with amendment on the same date i.e. 17 Dec 2024. As per the latest orders, the holidays will start from 23rd Dec 2024 (Monday).
