Government of Sindh, Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department issued two notifications on 17-12-2024 in connection with New Security Featured Number Plates and Smart Cards 2025 Sindh. The new security-featured smart card will replace the old vehicle registration booklets. In the same way, the owners of the vehicles will have to replace the old number plates with new number plates of white and yellow colors. The details are as follows:
New Security Featured Number Plates and Smart Cards 2025 Sindh
No: SOIV(TAXES)ET&NCD/12023-24(RMP):- It is hereby notified to all owners of the vehicles, both private and commercial, registered in the Province of Sindh, that the old number Plates have been discontinued. As part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and standardize vehicle indentation, all owners of the vehicles are required to replace the old number place with new Security-Featured Number Plates:

- This replacement is mandatory, and the old number plates will no longer be valid after 3rd April 2024. Owners of the vehicles are directed to apply for and obtain the new security-featured number plates at the earliest by visiting any Motor Registration Authority of the Excise, Taxation *. Narcotics Control Department, Government of Sindh.

New Smart Cards 2024 Replacing Old Vehicle Booklets
NO: SOIV(TAXES)ET&NCD/1(91)/2023-24(RMP):- It is hereby notified for the information of all vehicle owners registered in the province of Sindh that the existing Vehicle Registration Booklets are being replaced with the New Security-Featured Smart Cards. The Smart card incorporates advance registrations. Effective from 3rd April 2024, the current Vehicle Registration Booklets will no longer be valid.
All vehicle owners are therefore requested to visit any Motor Registration Authority of the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department, Government of Sindh, to obtain their Smart Cards well before and stated deadline. The deadline for Replacement is 3rd April 2024.
