Entomologist (BPS-17) Vacancies in the Department of Plant Protection 2025
There are several job opportunities in the Department of Plant Protection Ministry of National Food Security & Research Government of Pakistan. Applications are invited for the following posts purely on a Contract Basis till 30-06-2026, extendable for another year in the Department of Plant Protection (DPP) M/o National Food Security & Research (MNFS&R). The requisite criteria for the said posts are as under:-

Terms & Conditions
- Eligible candidates should submit their applications through the National Job Portal (https://njp.gov.pk/) website within 15 days of this advertisement.
- Applicants already in Government Service may apply through the proper channel and would be required to produce NOC at the time of the interview.
- Applicants shortlisted for the interview shall produce original documents along with attested copies of degrees/certificates issued by HEC/recognized Boards/Universities/Institutes.
- A maximum of five years of age relaxation is allowed in the upper age limit as per the rules.
- Information provided in the application form will be verified, and in case of any false or forged information and fake or bogus documents, the Ministry of National Food Security and Research reserves the right to cancel the candidature at any stage (even after employment if so discovered later) and initiate legal action against the applicant.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the walk-in interview.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be called for a walk-in interview at the Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad centers.
- The Department of Plant Protection, Ministry of National Food Security & Research, reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process in part or whole, increase or decrease the number of posts as per requirement, against any post, at any stage without assigning any reason.
