Government of the Punjab School Education Department issued a Notification on 24-02-2025 in connection with School Timings During the Holy Month of Ramzan 2025 in Punjab Schools. The details are as follows: 

School Timings During Holy Month Ramzan 2025 in Punjab School

SO(A-I)1-31/2022. Consequent upon approval of the Competent Authority, the following timings shall be observed in all educational institutions/schools in Punjab during the Holy Month of Ramadan-2025: The timings start from 0800 HRS for the first and second shifts.

NOTE: The opening and closing time for Girls’ Schools shall be 15 minutes earlier than the timings mentioned above.

Copy of Submission of the Letter

A copy is forwarded for information & necessary action to the following staff:

1. All the Deputy Commissioners in Punjab.
2. The Director of Public Instructions (SE / EE), Punjab.
3. All Heads of Attached Departments / PEIMA / PEF / DREP / Cadet Colleges.
4. The Director (Monitoring) requests that the same be uploaded on the official website of the School Education Department for general information.
5. All Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) in the Punjab.
6. PSO to Minister for School Education Department.
7. PS to Secretary, School Education Department.
8. PS to Secretary, Special Education Department.
9. PS to Secretary, Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education Department.
10. PS to Special Secretary, School Education Department.
11. PS to Additional Secretary (General), School Education Department.
12. PA to Deputy Secretary (Acad), School Education Department.

This Notification is only for the Punjab Government and Private Schools. Federal and Other Provinces will issue their own Notifications.
