Services and General Administration Department Punjab issued a Notification on 19-03-2025 in connection with the Punjab Govt Notification Eid ul Fitr Holidays 2025. As per the Notification the Punjab Government has announced Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays with effect from 31^st March 2025 to 2^nd April 2025.

According to the Notification, the employees working 5 days a week will get 5 holidays on Eid ul Fitr while those working 6 days a week will have 4 eid-ul-fitr holidays. The details are as follows:

The Cabinet Division issued a press release (No.10-1/2025-Min-II) on 19.03.2025, continuing the notification (dated 13.01.2025) that lists public and optional holidays for 2025. The government has declared 31st March to 2nd April 2025 (Monday to Wednesday) as a public holidays in Punjab for Eid-ul-Fitr. All major English and Urdu dailies at national and regional levels should publish this notification. Electronic media should also widely publicize it.

It is to mention here that the Federal government has also missed the Notification Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2025 Federal for Federal Employees. The Punjab Government also followed the Federal Govt and announced the same schedule for the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays 2025.
