Government of Pakistan, Finance Division (Regulations Wing) issued a Notification on 21-03-2025 in connection with Revised Rates of Daily Allowance 2025 (SPPS) Federal government employees. The details are as follows:

Revised Rates of Daily Allowance 2025 (SPPS) Federal Govt Employees
The following rates of Daily Allowance are admissible to officials appointed on Special Professional Pay Scales (SPPS) during official tours/duty:

- Northern Areas
- Muzaffarabad
- Mirpur AJ&K.
Basic Conditions
- Daily Allowance is admissible only for actual nights spent at the outstation.
- If night stop is not involved and absence exceeds four hours, half DA is allowed.
- Officials can claim actual room rent charges with receipts, subject to:
- Maximum of three DA in specified stations.
- One and a half DA in non-specified stations.
- Without a receipt, accommodation charges are equivalent to:
- Two DA in specified stations.
- One DA in non-specified stations.
- Travel Allowance (TA) is as per Federal Government officials (BPS-17 and above).
- SPPS I-IV officials are entitled to economy-class air travel for official duty.
