Government of the Punjab School Education Department issued a Notification on 11-04-2025 in connection with Revised School Timings Punjab Schools. This Notification is for all Public /Government Schools in Punjab. These new timings will be effective from 11th April to 15th October 2025, covering both single and double-shift institutions. The updated schedule includes detailed timings for students and teachers, ensuring better academic and administrative planning.
Revised School Timings Punjab Schools 2025
As per the Notification No.SO(A-I)1-31/2022 and consequent upon approval of the Competent Authority, the following revised school timings w.e.f. 11.04.2025 to 15.10.2025 SED Punjab notifies with immediate effect. All Public Schools in the Punjab will observe the same.

All Chief Executive Officers (District Education Authorities) in Punjab should ensure strict compliance with Revised School Timings. Any negligence or non-compliance by CEOs (DEA) will have to be faced with by the law.
Note: The Chief Executive Officer (DEA) concerned may make adjustments to the 15-minute gap in the opening and closing time of girls’ schools in the district.
