The Finance Department of the Government of Sindh has launched the Citizens’ Budget or Participatory Budgeting in the province. This approach is a recognized form of social accountability that directly involves citizens in the budgeting process. The Government of Sindh firmly believes that public funds are, in fact, the property of the people. Therefore, the public must be involved in the decision-making on where and how these funds should be spent. The Finance Department requests all citizens of Sindh to submit their proposals for the budget for fiscal year 2025-26.
The Government of Sindh strongly believes in public participation in policy-making and budget preparation. Your recommendations submitted by 15 May 2025.
